Het is een ambitieus project dat Roemenië voor de eerste keer op de kaart zet van hete luchtballonnen. ” 100 ballons for Romania”, komt dit jaar toe aan de Roemeense herdenking van de 1e wereldoorlog. 100 hetelucht ballonnen uit heel Europa en uit Japan en Chili, doen mee in Baia Mare voor een memorabele reünie, met dit jaar een bijzondere boodschap, vrede en geluk.

” Happy birthday Roemenie! We’ re glad you made it!”, klinkt door het luchtruim de komende dagen. Tijdens de avondvlucht deze zondag houden alle 400 piloten en crew van 28 landen, samen een moment stilte voor alle Europese helden. Een bijzonder moment..
